Entrechem was founded in 2005 as an entrepreneurial venture promoted by University Professors and a scientist-turned entrepreneur. EntreChem is a spin-off company of the University of Oviedo and it’s located in Asturias, northern Spain. EntreChem is focused on drug discovery and development for human health markets, especially in the area of cancer.

Seed capital funding was provided by co-founders contributions that acted as a catalyst for a network of public agencies that provided competitive R&D soft loans and grants, from the local, national and european administration. National agencies like Genoma España and CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial) through its NEOTEC program, together with local development agencies (IDEPA, FICYT and SRP) and various programs from MICINN (Minitry of Science and Innovation) and the European Union Sixth Framework Programme, helped through the early times of the start-up period.

In year 2010, reflecting our growth expectations, we have attracted the interest of a number of private family offices and business angels in Asturias (Spain) that have joined EntreChem's shareholder roster to help us navigate the preclinical waters towards the clinical stage and witness firsthand the exciting opportunities ahead of us.

We invite you (business angel, private family office or VC) to consider investing in EntreChem, a young, innovative, business-sense oriented biotechnology company. We can make available, upon request, non-confidential information to interested parties and further details may follow subject to a confidentiality agreement.
